Been a while since I've posted anything. How was everyone's 4th of July? Hope well. If you have an
additional day off tomorrow, have fun!

I took a few photos in this train station the other day. It was opened in 1939 and still has a lot of the same
interior design as it did back in the 1930's and 40's. Seats, floor tiles, chandeliers. It's like stepping into
a time portal.

There were a lot of interesting shapes, lines and designs that caught my eye. Here are a few of my
favorites. (There's a lot, I know, but I couldn't help myself).

Gregg Nakamura Breaks Through To The Top 8 Surfers At WQS Ala Moana

WOW, what a run!!!  Working-man hero Gregg Nakamura gave the crew quite an inspirational thrill yesterday.
The fairy-tale story:  upsetting a number of the top heavies with four advancements and back-to-back first place
finishes, in tough heats against admirable competitors and champs like Sunny Garcia, Kai Barger, Granger Larsen,
Hank Gaskell, and others.  Couldn't be more stoked to see Gregg break his way through to the top 8 surfers at
the World Qualifier Series Ala Moana Bowls.  Special congratulations goes out to Gregg!  And special congrats to
Jason Shibata, another man who deserves all good things that comes his way!

Team BAYVI:  Gregg Nakamura Continues to Advance in the Ala Moana Bowls WQS

The World Qualifier Series at Ala Moana Bowls, Hawaii:  WOW, what an exciting few rounds so far.
Have you been watching?  In-person, streaming live, or on Time Warner cable?  Two rounds have
passed, and viewers have been privy to a number of upsets it almost feels like a World Cup match.
With South Swell trains expected to light up Hawaiian South Shores starting tomorrow, we can expect
the WQS Ala Moana Bowls to resume and finish this week.

In back-to-back upsets, team BAYVI and darkhorse-pick Gregg Nakamura continues to advance.  It's a
constant juggle for the man, taking off of work, driving down to the contest, and heading back to work
afterwards.  Wonder what he tells his bosses?  Who cares, he's our working man's champ!

Our friend Chris took a trip to Paris, recently. It immediately made me want to teleport over to Europe and
stroll through gardens and museums and cafes, while taking a million photos and eating as many macarons
possible.

I also noticed he was wearing a few BAYVI tees in a few shots (1st + 5th + 6th photos). Thanks for always
supporting, Chris! And thanks for letting me share your amazing photos.

Now I'm off to dream of exploring a french castle and mindlessly drifting through dreamy Luxembourg Gardens.

Au Revoir!

Stoked to have Chiller Whales on board the BAYVI family. It's refreshing to see people doing what they
love & believe in. We remember when they were getting kicked out of their practice-garage, and now they're
performing in front of thousands of people, in Santa Barbara.

Good job, Chiller Whales!

Stay tuned for their upcoming album!
