Aloha everybody. Had a chance to catch up with Sev Smith of Chiller Whales, who's been bearing the
cold waters and holding things strong for the VI out in in San Luis Obispo, California. As shown above,
what once stood as an abandoned shed now houses the creative collaboration of Chiller Whales.
It's always refreshing to see guys commited to their passions and doing what they love.
Many mahalos to Mary N for the photo submissions and we're anxious to share some of their upcoming
music with you on the site. Stay tuned and keep the submissions coming!

Flowers in December
Flowers in December. I don't know how they manage to live in this weather, one minute it's a comfortable
70 degrees and the next, high 30's. I watched on the news that California is breaking new records, the
last time it was this cold was 1916. Global warming at its best, I guess...
Well, whatever, I love flowers in December.

To the loyal crew:
It's December 26:
1 day after Christmas.
4 days after the Winter Solstice.
360 days after the beginning of our year.
1 Day after Christmas.
Whether you spent it in the warmth of the Aloha State, in the cold drizzle of California, in the crisp
chill of England, or in the hustle and bustle of Japan, I hope you all had a nice Christmas. Now eat
your leftovers son!

4 Days after the Winter Solstice.
The Winter Solstice is a trippy phenomenon. The Earth has completed its upward tilt and now the
Northern Hemisphere is tilting back down in a state of everconstant motion. We've officially passed
the shortest day of sunlight. Longer, brigher, and warmer days now await us. With each new day,
you can paddle out a minute earlier, skate a minute later, or for you myspace lurkers: you don't need
sunlight--just lurk all night long!
360 days after 2008. What a year 08 has been. We've added a new Distribution Center in LA, we've
teamed up with BAYVI Japan, we've added new guys to the crew and we're moving at a faster pace
than ever.
As we head to 2009, we got a lot of exciting new projects in the works that you'll be seeing soon!
Outerwear. Fleece or French-terry? HSP measurements, GSM counts... Our new hooded sweatshirt
prototypes are in the works and new BAYVI outerwear coming your way.
Designs and prints. VI ideology represented in ink.
More to come!
Check back regularly. Thanks to all 6A members and those who have supported the VI from day one.
For those short on stickers and needing a sticker for their car, board, or binder, send us an email with
your name and address and we'll get you taken care of.
Merry Christmas everybody.

Merry Christmas everyone!
Headed over to Griffith park for a one mile, drive-thru light show. I love lights, it was beautiful. Here's a
shot of Ron taking a photo of the Griffith Observatory in lights, on his Iphone.
Anyway, hope everyone has a good and safe christmas! Eat plenny, cause i definitely will!
