White December
It's snowing up in the San Gabriel mountains right now. Past few days have been a little cold and rainy. The news said they're expecting 16 inches by the end of this storm. !!
I can't wait to snowboard. Never done it before, only skied since I was 6. I'm just a little excited to try something new. Ok, that's a lie, I'm really excited. Counting down till that day... (soon!)

I got this icebox where my heart use to be
Been getting a lot colder here. Rain since Saturday, which made me miss the Rose Bowl flea market (I swear I'm cursed), Christmas decorated streets and music oozing out of shop doors. Good luck to you all working in retail. I know how hectic it gets! Only a few more weeks left and you're freee! But until then, take your tylenols and count backwards from 10 or 100, depending on how bad the anxiety gets. -_-

it's finally starting to get cold over here. people are out shopping for christmas trees, presents, decoratio- ns, and anything you can possibly think of. they're out there, in crowds, armed with shopping carts, running over toes and weaving through one another in malls. it's a little overwhelming at times for me, especially when fighting through traffic at rush hour, after work, when i need to use the bathroom. and it never fails on the freeway, that one guy just WON'T let me in when i'm sitting there w/ my blinker light begging my way through. I seriously feel like having major meltdowns sometimes during the holidays. but i always remind myself of the good things believe it or not. i'm thankful for the life i have and the people in it :D. merry christmas to everyone, wherever you are.

Unplanned Photo Session at Rocky Point
Chris called me up this morning cuz he didn't have school today and he was wondering if I wanted to go shoot. I knew North Shore was good so off we go!!
Rocky Point was the spot! The waves were good and not crowded!
Gotta protest the face! I don't know what tribe he's from... ha ha
Kainoa showed up right when Chris and I got there. Crazy, cuz it wasn't even planned.

After about 30 minutes, Gopal showed up! Well, it's more like he came home since he lives right there...
Gopal doe this crazy Shove-It thing like it's nothing. I was really impresed with this one.
Okay, that's cool enough right? I guess not for him cuz he can't be going backward rest of the wave. So he does it again, now going backward.
Crazy...
Today turned into an unplanned BayVI photo session. Super stoked!

Northern Colors
been gone for a while. headed to northern california for thanksgiving & were without internet. hope everyone had a good and safe one. we had a really nice time, even got to check out a few surfing spots for ron down at golden gate. i give all those guys (fully suited) credit for surfing in water that cold! i can't handle the cold that well, but i'm learning! took these in san jose. there was a gingko tree right outside. i'm completely in love with the colors of fall and all things associated. the leaves were florescent yellow and fell on the sidewalks like brightly colored snow. can someone plant like a million of these guys in la? please?
