Firestarter!
Killing time before some meetings, we stopped off at the Hawaii State Art Museum for lunch. Rest & relax-
ation came to a screeching hault when the fire alarm went off and we were evacuated from the building.
We decided to raise our karma points and stick around to pay the tab, unlike a few others who we seen
strolling off down the street. I really don't know what happened but everything was back to normal
within 15 minutes. I got a good chance to stand outside of the building and admire its architechture.
There's just something about this old design that intrigues me. I can completely appreciate how much detail
went into the process and creation. Little details often go unnoticed...

Clapper + Ukarest
Jared Clapper stopped by today to show us a few of his new
board models, all equipt with collaboration art by Ukarest. These
boards look like they'd be so fun to ride, but putting a ding in
this sick piece would be a total bummer. Ahh thee irony!

Soundtrack to a sunset
This was taken over two years ago while trying to get a shot for an
album that has YET to come out, heh. I can still (clearly) remember the
holes in the sand, the concrete island cubes, the pastel skies, and
telling myself that I needed to get back there someday. I'm definitely
overdue for a visit.

Waikiki 2008. Can you believe they're not making Polaroid film anymore? What a sad thought.

Tofu Nabe
Met up to talk some business tonight. Found this great little place that looked like a cross between a
karaoke bar & a strip club from the outside. Decided to give it a try anyway and to our surprise,
it was really good and affordable. Tofu nabe, chicken & tofu spring rolls with cheese, chicken karaage,
japanese style french fries w/ a mayo+wasabi sauce, tofu/chicken katsu, sake and biru. Finding a
new spot to eat at is like finding money in your jeans after you wash them. Elation! ha.
